GETech won on Oct. 22th, 2016, a lump sum contract to perform the Feasibility Study & Basic Engineering Design of Steam Generator
and Auxiliary and Facilities project for Petron Corporation Bataan Refinery in the Philippines.
Petron Corporation as the project owner is the largest oil refining and marketing company supplying nearly 40% of the country’s oil
requirements in the Philippines. Reputable companies with experience of Petron projects such as GS Construction, Daelim E&C from
South Korea, Chiyoda Philippines Corporation, JGC Philippines, Inc., Flour Philippines were invited in the bidding for this project in June,
2016 and GETech have been finally chosen as a successful bidder and contractor of the project.
GETech, as the engineering oriented company rapidly growing up to EPC contractor, will conduct engineering services that includes the
dynamic simulation study of the refinery steam system to determine the key design features of the new steam generator, preparation of the
basic engineering design (BED) package, assistance in the conduct of the environmental impact assessment, review of the detailed
mechanical design of critical equipment, EPC cost estimation, conduct of the hazards identification, supply of operating manual and other
related engineering services for the implementation of the New Steam Generator.

As this contract is our first job in the Philippines and Petron Corporation as well, so it means a lot to us. Beside we gained a competitive
advantage over rival companies to participate in an expected EPC bidding of this project as well as next refinery projects from the
same client”, said GETech’s representative.
